Wild Senna is a 3' to 6' tall native perennial legume with big showy racemes of yellow pea-like flowers. The plant is somewhat shrubby and typically grows in often damp or wet open woods and fields. It does equally well in full sun or partial shade. This tall plant makes a good accent for wildflower or native plant gardens. Long seed pods droop from the stems well into winter. The seeds are relished by quail, turkey and many other birds. Native Americans, especially the Cherokee, used this plant to treat a wide range of medical problems.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
