Mix 121 (MIXED GRASS MEADOW MIX) is designed for the environmental conditions of the Southeastern Coastal Plain and for sites with dry to mesic soils. Flowering period and flower colors are coordinated for full season variety. The amount of seed of each species in the mix has been calculated using the number of seeds per pound of each species factored by establishment parameters. Mix 121 contains the following 6 native grass species and 16 native wildflower species: Little Bluestem, Indian Grass, Lopsided Indian Grass, Switchgrass, Muhly Grass, Pineywoods Dropseed, Purple Top, Common Milkweed, Lance Leaved Coreopsis, Blackeyed Susan, Partridge Pea, Purple Coneflower, Rattlesnake Master, False Sunflower, Spiked Blazing Star, Greyheaded Coneflower, Wild Quinine, Spurred Butterfly Pea, Florida Tick Trefoil, Maximilian Sunflower, Whorled Rosinweed, Rigid Goldenrod, Narrow Leaved Sunflower, and Ohio Spiderwort.
