Rocket Larkspur is a 2' to 3' tall introduced annual from southern Europe. This is an easy to establish self-seeding low maintenance garden plant. It features tall showy spikes of long-spurred bright blue flowers. Rocket Larkspur flowers from mid-summer into fall and grows best in dry to medium soils on full sun or partial shade sites. This is a plant of long-ago gardens and is as delightful as ever. It is a good bed and border plant and makes a good cut flower.
