Florida Tick Trefoil is a 2' to 3' tall native perennial legume with pink pea-like flowers in terminal open clusters. The seeds are in jointed pods covered with tiny hooked hairs that adhere to fur or clothing to aid in seed dispersal. Florida Tick Trefoil prefers dry to medium soils and full sun sites. The distribution of this plant is restricted to Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. Florida Tick Trefoil is normally only used in native plant gardens, site restorations, and wildlife habitat plantings. The seeds are really important in the diet of quail, turkey, small mammals, and songbirds. It is also a host plant for butterfly species.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
