Rattlesnake Master is a 3' to 5' tall native perennial with terminal clusters of 1" wide balls of tiny greenish white flowers. Most of the leaves are basal and the few stem leaves are narrow with spiny margins similar to Yucca. This plant grows best in dry to medium soils, producing a deep tap root for drought protection, and prefers full sun sites. The eye-catching unique structure of Rattlesnake Master, also known as Button Snakeroot, make it highly desirable to gardeners as accent plants in borders, native plant gardens, and wildflower meadows. Rattlesnake Master is easy to establish from seed and is an excellent pollinator conservation species.

This ecotype is made possible in partnership with AUDUBON DELTA.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
