Maryland Golden Aster is a 1' to 2' tall native perennial that flowers in late summer through the fall. The plant produces large terminal clusters of bright yellow daisy-like flowers. This poor soil tolerant native prefers full sun sites and is truly drought tolerant. Maryland Golden Aster is a great fall border plant and well suited for wildflower meadow plantings. It is a somewhat short-lived perennial and needs to self-seed to remain in the garden.
