Rigid Goldenrod is a 3' to 5' tall native perennial found in prairies, grassland remnants, old fields, and along railroads. The flowers are larger and more showy than other goldenrods. Rigid Goldenrod features broad flat-topped inflorescences with dense cluster of the small bright yellow flower heads. The plant grows best in dry to medium soil in full sun, but will tolerate some soil moisture and some partial shade. Rigid Goldenrod is not as aggressive as some of the other tall goldenrods and makes a good garden plant. It is easy to establish from seed and is widely used in conservation plantings and native landscaping. It is recommended as a component of pollinator conservation plantings.

This ecotype is made possible in partnership with AUDUBON DELTA.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
