Bushy Bluestem is an easy to establish, freely self-seeding, 3' to 6' tall native perennial warm season clump grass. This plant grows best on full sun or light partial sun sites in moist soils and will not tolerate dry sites. It is most often found growing in moist soils in low spots in fields, disturbed areas, ditches, around swamps and marshes, and in wet prairies. The tall silvery showy panicles are ornamental and this grass is suited to wet garden sites. Bushy Bluestem is a food and cover plant for a variety of wildlife and is used in restoration and conservation plantings, especially in the South.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
