Fox Sedge is a 2' to 3' tall native perennial member of the sedge family found in all but one of the lower 48 states. This plant prefers wet to moist soils and full sun or part shade. Fox Sedge is a spring and early summer flowering plant with a terminal inflorescence consisting of numerous short, mostly overlapping, spikelets. It often forms dense colonies from spreading roots. It is usually commonly found around swamps and in wet, or seasonally wet, fields, woods, and ditches. It is a good plant for most wet garden sites. Many wetland birds eat the seeds.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
