Browneyed Susan is a 2' to 5' tall native biennial, or short lived perennial. It is a tall, terminally heavily branched plant producing a canopy of daisy-like showy yellow blossoms with dark centers. This is a very versatile plant. It grows well in dry to wet soils, in full sun to part shade, and has a long flowering period from June through September. Browneyed Susan establishes easily from seed and is used in native gardens, wildflower meadows, and conservation plantings. The absence of lower branches and the dense canopy of this plant make it a good wildlife cover plant in addition to providing a large volume of seed.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
