Sensitive Briar is a 6' to 10' long trailing or climbing vine covered with small thorns. It flowers in summer and fall and features puffy pink "pom-pom" looking flowers. The name is in reference to the habit of the leaves to fold when touched. This plant prefers dry to medium soils in full sun or part shade. Sensitive Briar is a legume and produces significant quantities of seed in prickle covered pods. Sensitive Briar is an important food source for bobwhite quail and other songbirds in its range. The foliage is consumed by the Gopher tortoise.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
