Regions 2,3,4,5 - Dry-Wet
Lanceleaf Thoroughwort is a 2' to 4' tall native perennial usually found in old fields, prairies, and other open sites in dry to medium moisture soils. It flowers in summer and the plants are solitary with whorls of narrow leaves reaching a nearly flat-topped inflorescence of clusters of small white flowers. The flower clusters are of disc flowers, but are still very showy and deserving of a place in native plant gardens, wildflower meadows, and conservation plantings. Lanceleaf Thoroughwort attracts numerous pollinator species.
