You are only paying for viable seed. Showy Goldenrod is a 1' to 4', and sometimes taller, native perennial. As the common name implies it is one of the showiest and most attractive of the many goldenrod species. It is a late summer and fall flowering plant featuring pyramidal or club-shaped arrangements of small light yellow flowers on the upper half of the flower stalk. It prefers dry to medium soils, but will tolerate temporary moist soils. It tolerates poor dry soils and is usually found growing in dry open woods, fields, and meadows. This plant attracts butterflies.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight.
