Hairy Mountain Mint is a 1' to 3' tall native perennial mint featuring white hairy stems and somewhat wider leaves than most other Pycnanthemum species. This mint prefers dry to medium soils and will grow well in full sun or part shade. The flowers are two-lipped, white or lavender tinged, spotted with purple and are in mostly dense terminal clusters. Hairy Mountain Mint is easy to establish and spreads by rhizomes to form dense clumps. It is a good plant for herb gardens, borders, native gardens, and wildflower meadows. Like other Mountain Mints, this is a plant of exceptional value in butterfly and hummingbird gardens and in pollinator conservation plantings.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
