Narrowleaf Silkgrass is a 1' to 3' tall native perennial with narrow grass-like leaves. It spreads by rhizomes and may form dense colonies with conspicuous bright yellow 1" wide ray flowers. It grows best in dry to medium soils and in either full sun or partial shade sites. It is easily established and is used in gardens and landscaping as a ground cover and foreground plant. It is often included in wildflower meadow, restoration, and conservation seed mixes. Under ideal growing conditions this plant may become aggressive. The native distribution includes the lower Ohio Valley and southern states.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
