Tall Coreopsis lives up to its name, growing 4' to 8' tall. It has 2" wide yellow daisy-like flowers, flowers in late summer, and grows best in dry to medium soils and in full sun. Tall Coreopsis is a good tall grass prairie indicator species and competes well with the tallest native warm season grasses. Tall Coreopsis flowers above the grasses and the grasses support the tall stems. A good garden plant for rear areas of plantings and for poor, dry soil. Tall Coreopsis is often included in tall grass wildlife habitat mixes and prairie meadow mixes. Seed producers often have difficulty getting a crop of Tall Coreopsis due to bird predation as soon as the seed nears maturity.

Prices listed are based on pure live seed weight, not bulk weight. You are only paying for viable seed.
