John Seymour - President

John Seymour is the co-founder, co-owner, and president of Roundstone. Over 20 years ago, John and his father Randy started converting their beef cattle, tobacco, and hay operation over to native seed production. Since then, John has personally overseen every aspect of Roundstone’s operations and growth. John has a passion for farming and native plants. He attended Western Kentucky University with an emphasis in Agriculture. He lives on his home farm at Roundstone in Hart County with his wife and children.

Mark Sidebottom – Production / Farm Operations

Mark Sidebottom started at Roundstone in 2008. Mark’s current position is managing the farming operations at Roundstone including burning, establishment, maintenance, harvest, drying and transportation. He is also responsible for all CRP, CREP, and many other Farm Bill programs, including site approval, establishment, and maintenance service operations.

Jeremy Hamlington – Production / Sales

Jeremy Hamlington, a West Tennessee native has been with Roundstone since 2012 in production management, materials control, and customer service. He has been involved with seedling plug production, specialty wildflower seed harvest, testing compliance, inventory control and direct customer assistance. Jeremy has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Wildlife and fisheries Science. He also has experience in stream bank stabilization, prescribed fire, range assessment, and wildlife management.

Kenetha Stanton – HR Manager / Accounting / Customer Service

Kenetha Stanton has been at Roundstone since 2008. Raised on a farm, Kenetha has experience with the production side of Roundstone and she worked in office management at Coca-Cola for 20 years prior to joining us. She divides her time between customer service, bookkeeping, banking,insurance, payroll, taxes, and assistant for John.

Robert Hoffman - Consulting / Sales / Design

Robert Hoffman was born in Jackson, TN and grew up in Sumter, South Carolina.  He has a Bachelors of Science in Natural Resource Management from University of Tennessee Martin and a Master’s of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida.  Robert began his career working at the Tall Timbers Research Station in South Georgia and North Florida , studying northern bobwhites.  He has worked as a Wildlife Biologist for Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, working with private landowners to establish wildlife habitat through Farm Bill programs. Robert joined Roundstone Native Seed in 2015. When he is not working, his favorite hobbies include hunting, fishing or backpacking with his wife Ashley.

Kristi Highbaugh - Reception / Customer Service / Sales / Administration

Kristi joined Roundstone in 2016 after more than a decade in banking, working in customer service and accounting. She attended Elizabethtown Community College. Kristi grew up on a tobacco and beef cattle farm in Hart County, Kentucky and when she’s not at Roundstone she now operates her own beef cattle farm in Bonnieville along with her husband and two daughters.

Krystal Smith - Reception / Customer Service / Sales / Administration

Krystal Smith works in reception, provides customer service, and serves as a sales representative and an administrative assistant. She also assists with inventory support. Krystal came to Roundstone in 2016 from Premier Restorations, where she did on-site work and later accounting and bookkeeping. She lives in Clarkson with her husband and three children. In her free time you can find her camping or busy with her kids’ sports.
